What are their duties?

  1. Organise their own activity with total independence, administer the budget and resources explicitly assigned to them in the University’s annual budget, and make possible the effective exercise of their duties.
  2. Receive complaints submitted by any identified member of the University Community, or any unidentified member through the members of the collegiate bodies that represent them.
  3. Carry out any actions considered necessary for the adequate resolution of any cases brought before them.
  4. Present an annual report that summarises their actions in a special joint session of the Staff Committee and Governing Council. The Staff Committee may subsequently approve and make binding any proposals relating to one or more of the elements of said report.
